Pricing
What it costs
Every price here is the price. Fixed before work starts, agreed in writing, and yours outright once paid.
| Rung | What it is | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Qualify | A 15-minute call. Bring one question your business struggles to answer. | Free |
| Operations Audit | A measured look at where the hours go, and a written report you keep. | £895 |
| Business process automation build | Fixed-price automation projects, quoted from the audit. You own the result, code included. | From £1,495 |
| Cortex | The AI appliance, installed in your building. Yours outright. | From £4,950 |
| Care | Optional support: monitoring, updates, tested backups, small fixes. | £195/month |
Prices exclude VAT. Each rung is optional until it earns the next — most businesses start at the call, and plenty stop after the report.
What £4,950 actually buys
Cortex
From £4,950 installed
Yours outright, with your first three months of Care included. Then Care is optional at £195 a month, cancel any time. If you never pay us another penny, it keeps working.
That is one price for the whole business: the appliance, the software, installation on your network, and training for your team. There is no per-seat licence, no usage meter, and no annual renewal that decides whether you still own what you bought.
How we quote a build
- The audit measures the work so the scope is a number rather than a guess.
- We quote a fixed price against that scope, in writing, before anything starts.
- If it turns out to be more work than we thought, that is our problem — the price you agreed is the price you pay.
- You own the result outright, source code included, documented for handover.
When you should not buy from us
Worth saying plainly, because it is the part most suppliers leave out:
When renting is genuinely cheaper for you
A small team with light use and no confidentiality pressure will often be better served by a per-seat cloud subscription. We have done the three-year arithmetic both ways, including the cases where renting wins. See the comparison →
When the problem is not a software problem
If the process is undocumented or nobody agrees what the rules are, software makes the confusion faster. The audit will say so, and the recommendation will be to fix that first.
When the saving would not cover the price
If the hours we can measure do not justify the spend, the report says buy nothing. That happens, and it is not a failed audit.

Questions people actually ask
Is there a per-seat or per-user charge?
No. Cortex is one box for the whole team, with no per-seat fees and no usage caps. Adding the tenth person costs the same as adding the second: nothing.
What happens if we stop paying for Care?
Everything keeps working. Care buys monitoring, updates, tested backups and small fixes — not the right to keep using what you bought. You own the hardware, the software and the code outright, and none of it expires.
Are the prices fixed, or is it a day rate?
Fixed, and agreed in writing before any work starts. Builds are quoted from the audit so the scope is measured rather than guessed. We do not work on open-ended day rates — that arrangement rewards the wrong things.
Can we spread the cost of Cortex?
Ask, and we will set out both routes honestly — including what spreading it costs you in total against buying outright. Both roads end with you owning it.
Is the 15-minute call really free?
Yes, and it is a qualification gate rather than a sales pitch. Bring one question your business struggles to answer. If we cannot help, we will tell you on that call.
When is renting from a cloud provider the better answer?
Sometimes it genuinely is — small teams, light use, no confidentiality pressure. We have written the comparison out honestly, including the cases where renting wins.
