Many local IT providers configure products sold on a per-seat licence. That is a legitimate service and sometimes exactly the right purchase. Our work starts with the shape and cost of your process, so the answer is not chosen before the question is measured.

A small supplier, stated plainly

You deal directly with the engineer doing the work.

Inferred is an engineering practice, not a volume consultancy. We take on a limited number of projects, say when something lies outside what we can safely support, and document every build so another engineer can take it on without relying on unwritten knowledge.

What does an AI consultant actually do?

In our case: measure where time goes, identify what software could take on, separate AI from ordinary automation and price the work worth doing.

Do you only work with firms that want AI?

No. A good share of our work is ordinary business process automation. If the simpler answer wins, we say so.

Which areas do you cover?

Sussex, Surrey and the wider South East from Horsham. Most projects include at least one visit.

Are you independent?

We build our own appliance, but the audit is deliberately useful if you hire somebody else and is allowed to recommend a different route or no purchase.

What size of business do you work with?

Typically owner-managed firms with roughly five to one hundred staff and no full internal technology team.
